The apprenticeship - An exciting career start in the hospitality industry! Our unique School-hotels are vocational schools recognized by the Swiss Confederation, offering courses in a blocks’ model format. This allows talented young people to focus on their theoretical and practical learning in block courses lasting several weeks, and to develop their social skills in a supportive school environment. And all this during the off-season or when hotel or restaurant operations are reduced.

The School-hotel format: a great choice for hotel and restaurants

This format has been specially designed by HotellerieSuisse at the request of hoteliers: rather than having their apprentices attend the cantonal school every week, which complicates staff planning, the School-hotel format offers block courses twice a year, during periods when occupancy rates are generally low or hotels are closed. This format is therefore optimal for both companies and apprentices!
